Avalia Advises Earlybird in Energy Robotics Investment

Avalia Systems advised Earlybird Venture Capital in a seed investment in Energy Robotics, a company that has digitalised inspection with its software platform, the first of its kind, to deploy mobile autonomous robot fleets.

Founded in 1997, Earlybird is among the most established and active venture capital firms in Europe and invests in all development and growth phases of technology.

Energy Robotics, founded in 2018, is a startup specialized in intelligent autonomy software for mobile robots. The founders are robotics experts from TU Darmstadt (Germany) who have developed and implemented a variety of successful intelligent robotic solutions for complex problems for over a decade.

“The experienced team at Avalia supported us with a tech due diligence for a Seed stage financing round. Their structured data-driven approach led to great insights and helped guide our investment decision. I can only recommend working with them.”

Avalia Systems' Software Due Diligence involved a 360 degree assessment of Energy Robotics’ software assets, including the software architecture, source code, product elaboration process, and software engineering practices.

Avalia's team was very impressed by the overall quality of what they discovered and really enjoyed working with both Earlybird and Energy Robotics.
